Niamh has worked as a musculoskeletal physio in the private practice setting for 14 years in Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and now Wales.

Niamh graduated as a physiotherapist from Trinity College Dublin in 2007. Following this she moved overseas and worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist for over 7 years in New Zealand and Australia. Upon returning to Ireland, Niamh completed her clinical Pilates training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and is a certified Pilates instructor. In 2021 Niamh graduated from Cardiff University with an Msc in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at Cardiff University.

Niamh has worked primarily in the private practice setting, treating and managing a wide range of patients presenting with sports injuries, acute and chronic spinal pain and repetitive strain injuries. While in Australia, Niamh also worked in a clinic specialising in ergonomics and the treatment and management of work related overuse injuries. Over the past 7 years, Niamh has taught 1:1 and group Pilates classes.

Niamh has also completed training in the use of dry needling.

Clinical interests: Tendon problems, postural related pain, lower back pain, regularly drawing on her knowledge as a clinic Pilates instructor to treat and manage presenting conditions.

Sporting interests: Running, Pilates, weight training, swimming. Over the years she has completed a number of triathlons, ocean swims, half marathons and one marathon. Niamh also enjoys travelling and checking out the cafes of Canton and Pontcanna in her free time.
