Hannah Short
Sports Massage Therapist, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Mat Pilates Instructor,
Hannah is our newest member of the team working as a Sports Massage therapist.
Hannah can provide soft tissue release and passive stretching techniques as well as using assisted massage tools, dry cupping therapy and kinesiology taping to aid in enhancing mobility and helping people find relief from pain.
With 3 years of experience as a certified mat Pilates instructor teaching group classes, Hannah enjoys helping people feel strong and balanced in their bodies and uses Pilates to do this. Hannah also uses 1-2-1 Pilates sessions to individualise practice to support and challenge participants and as injury rehabilitation.
Hannah is currently in her final year of her Masters of Chiropractic degree at the University of South Wales. Here, she treats and manages a wide range of patients presenting with acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries and neck and back pain.
Hannah enjoys combining her clinical knowledge with her experience teaching Pilates to create classes that encourage injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Hannah has recently been part of the therapist team at an ultra-marathon in the Peak District. Here, she delivered soft tissue work and kinesiology taping to runners during and after the race.
Enjoying a variety of active hobbies and having experienced many an injury herself, Hannah has an interest in sporting and overuse injuries and draws on her Strength and Conditioning background to rehabilitate injuries and encourage a return to sport.
