We have always worked hard on the safety and cleanliness of our Studios, and we’re now more focused on it than ever. As we re-open we have increased existing measures and put new Covid-19 protocols in place in order to keep clients and staff safe on our premises.
We will be following recommended Government guidelines throughout our Studios. We ask that you do the same.
So please read the new safety measures below.
Before/after your class or session
All clients and staff will also have mandatory non-contact temperature checks on arrival. If you are cycling or running to the studio, please allow time to cool down before entering the Studio as anyone with a temperature above 37.8 degrees will not be allowed to proceed with their class or session (we will be using our common sense if you have cycled/run to get here).
Hand sanitiser dispensers have been installed throughout the Studio – please use them on arrival and before entering studio or treatment rooms.
Please arrive changed and ready for your class or session. Toilets will, of course, remain open.
We will not be providing towels for classes or PT sessions. Please bring your own if you need one. (Any towels used for Physio sessions will be changed and washed after each client.)
Our water dispenser is back in use, but we will not be providing disposable cups. Please bring a water bottle.
We will be actively managing the total numbers of people – clients and staff included – in the Clinic/Studio at any one time. So we will not be able to accept any walk-ins. By appointment/pre-booking only.
During classes and sessions
Class numbers have been reduced in line with latest guidelines. Instructors / Physios will not be providing hands-on correction during classes and will maintain social distancing during the class. Props/blocks will not be used in Pilates or Yoga classes.
All equipment that is used will be thoroughly cleaned before and after use.
At the start of Physio and Massage sessions your therapist will re-sanitise the treatment bed before applying a single-use paper covering. Chairs are also sanitised in-between every client.
PPE, cleaning and hygiene
During classes and 1-1 sessions – masks are not required for clients, though you are welcome to wear one if you prefer.
All staff will be expected to wear masks when in and around the premises apart from when instructing.
Air handling systems have been adjusted to maximise the flow of fresh air in and out of Studios and treatment rooms.
We have significantly increased the amount of cleaning in Studios, both in between classes and overnight.
What we ask of you
If you don’t feel well, have a temperature, or any other symptoms associated with Covid-19, or been exposed to someone who has symptoms of Covid-19, you must not attend the Studio. If you become ill within 24 hours of your class or session, let us know. You will not be charged for the cancellation.
Please come changed ready for your class or session. To enable us to comply with government restrictions on numbers of people in the Studio, please arrive no more than 5 minutes before class start time. Please also note that our late arrival policy still stands, so if you are more than 5 minutes late for class you will not be able to join.
Please maintain social distancing wherever possible whilst in Studio and follow all distancing signage.
Please use the hand sanitiser on arrival at the Studio and before entering your class or treatment room.
Please wipe down equipment carefully at the end of a class when asked to.
